TSTR #59 Guestdesigner

Omdat ik eerste werd met mijn kaart in week 49 op het blog van The Shabby Tea Room, werd ik uitgenodigd gastdesigner te zijn in deze week. Dit is de foto inspiratie die ik toegestuurd kreeg. Debbie vroeg of ik een vlinder wilde gebruiken op mijn kaart. Haha, iets meer dan eentje!
Because my card made a first in week 49 on the blog of The Shabby Tea Room, I was invited to be their guestdesigner in this week. This was the photo inspiration that was sent to me. "Please use a butterfly on your card", Debbie said in her e-mail. Hmmmm...I used more than one butterfly!

Ik was meteen weg van de kleuren en de vlinders in combinatie met het wit en besloot dat zelf ook zo te doen op mijn kaart.
I really loved the combination of those colors and butterflies with the white and decided to use these on my card too.

Vogelkooitje van Marianne Design, net als het vogeltje. Meer dan genoeg vlindertjes van Martha Stewart, Cuttlebug embossing folders, bling, Glossy accents, MacGill pons, knoop, witgeverf Tillandsia voor in het kooitje, Perlenpen, fineliner, naaimachine.
The birdcage is from Marianne Design, as is the bird on a branch. More than enough Martha Stewart butterflies :)  Cuttlebug embossing folders, bling, Glossy Accents, MacGill punch, button, some Tillandsia painted white for the inside of the cage, Perlenpen white, fineliner, sewing machine.

Groetjes uit Thassos. Hier sta ik op een terras in het nonnenklooster Moni Archagelou, verplicht rokje over de broek. Jammer dat ik het weer in moest levern, zo'n charmante outfit! Thassos greetings! Here you see me on a terrace of the nunnery Moni Archagelou, with the obligated skirt you have to wear if you wear trousers. Almost sorry I had to give it back, so charming!!

TSTR #54 en Card Patterns 107

Met deze kaart wil ik meedoen aan twee challenges, die van The Shabby Tea Room en die van Card Patterns. TSTR heeft een soort bingokaartje, waaruit je drie op een rij kunt kiezen om te gebruiken op je kaart, maar je kunt ook alles gebruiken. Dat laatste heb ik gedaan. Van CP heb ik de leuke schets gebruikt.
With my card I would like to combine two challenges: the one from The Shabby Tea Room and the one from Card Patterns. TSTR has a bingocard for us, I have used all of the items in the bingocard. I took the nice sketch from CP for my card.

TSTR # 53

Het was een druk weekje met werk, rapporten middag en -avond, maar ik wilde de challenge van The Shabby Tea Room niet missen. Ze bestaan een jaar en geven een feestje. Veel sponsors hebben een prijs beschikbaar gesteld. De foto inspiratie was een lastige, maar ondanks dat je je er niet aan hoefde te houden vond ik het wel een uitdaging om dat wel te doen. Op je kaart iets wat met Party Time te maken heeft.
This week was a busy one, but I did not want to miss the challenge of  The Shabby Tea Room ladies who  are having their first anniversary and are giving a party. Many sponsors graciously donated a prize for the occasion. The photo inspiration I find a difficult one, but even though you don't have to follow it this week, I decided I would.The sentiment says Congratulations!

Oudere papiertjes uit voorraad, maar ze matchen de foto vrij goed, vind ik. Lint voor de bloem, Crealies stansjes, Martha Stewart vlinders en deep edge pons, Fiskars randpons, bling, paperclip, metal spacer, roosje, Perlenpen en fineliner. Older papers from my stash, but I think they match the photo inspiration rather well. TSTR #52 Green

Groen is de kleur die The Shabby Tea Room deze week op onze kaartjes wil zien met als thema Luck of the Irish. Op 17 maart is het St.Patricksday, maar dat wordt in Nederland niet zo gevierd. Ik heb er deze kaart mee gemaakt.
Green is the color that The Shabby Tearoom would like to see on our cards this week. Themed Luck of the Irish. It will be St. Patricksday op March 17th, a holiday that is not really celebrated in The Netherlands, so I made this card with it.

I wishoe... CP 104 en TSTR 51

Dit is al de derde post deze week, maar dat komt omdat ik nog mee wil doen aan de challenges van Card Patterns en The Shabby Tea Room, die ik weer erg leuk vond! Ik heb van CP de schets gebruikt en van TSTR de foto inspiratie (Classic Elegance, alleen zwart,wit en rood).

Already my third post this week, but that's because I wanted to participate in these two challenges, which I found very appealing. Used the sketch from Card Patterns and the photo inspiration from The Shabby Tea  Room.

Ik heb de kaart vrij simpel gehouden, is elegantie niet iets wat te maken heeft met less is more? :)

De schoentjes komen uit Photohop en zijn versierd met wat bling. Verder kant en lint, nietjes en parels en fineliner. Rood kader : Bazill dotted Swiss.

Kept the card rather simple, isn't elegance not all about less is more? :) The shoes are Photoshop brushes and are spiced up with some bling. Furthermore laces, ribbon, staples, pearls and fineliner. Red frame: Bazzill dotted Swiss

Erg leuk trouwens dat er zoveel van jullie zijn gaan kijken bij Challenges for You en zich ook hebben aangemeld. Nu nog meedoen, hè meiden! :)
